Analysis
o Construction issues
Plans call for reconstructing the existing bituminous
alleys with 6 inch concrete "V" design pavement to a
la-foot width. Driveway aprons adjacent to the alley will
be paved between the new alley edge and existing driveways
with materials in kind. No sod restoration is planned.
Topsoil and seed will be placed on all disturbed turf
areas along the alley.
Existing turning radii at the street entrances and at the
"T" intersections are substandard in size. To facilitate
city truck maneuvering, 15-foot radii will be installed
where possible. Northern states Power Company and U.s.
West have agreed to relocate several power poles to
augment this installation.
o Estimated project costs
