APPOINTMENT PROCESS/CRITERIA-
HCA OPERATIONS BOARD MEMBERS.
Proposed Action
Staff recommends adoption of the following motion: Move to approve the proposed
process and appointment criteria for the Hopkins Center for the Arts operation board
members to be appointed bv the City Council.
Adoption of this motion will set in place the necessary steps for the City Council to
appoint three representatives to the Hopkins Center for the Arts operations board.
Overview
The operations board for the Hopkins Center for the Arts will be responsible for much of
the day-to-day operational policy issues facing this new facility. The Council has
agreed to an operations board of nine members, of which the City Council will appoint
three. .
The approval of this action will begin the process of Council appointments to the
operations board, a process which could take 30 to 60 days to complete.
