APPROVE SCHEDULE FOR RASPEBERRY FESTIVAL
SPECIAL EVENT AND PARADE PERMITS
Proposed Action
Staff recommends that the Council approve the following motion: Move to
approve the schedule of events for the Raspberrv Festival.
Adoption of this motion will allow the Raspberry Festival to be held as planned.
Overview
The Jaycees have applied for a special event and parade permit for the Raspberry
Festival which will be held July 10 throuth July 20, 1997. A parade is scheduled
for Sunday, July 20. A planning session will be held on June 23'd for staff and
Raspberry Festival Committee members to go over the program, needs from the
City, special considerations, problems because of construction, and scheduling.
