SUBJECT: 2008 Hopkins Community Image Awards (HCIA)
Each year the City of Hopkins recognizes certain properties for their contribution toward the
image of the community. Nominations were sought in September, and a review committee voted
to determine which nominated properties would receive an award. Review committee members
included Peggy Gongoll and Shannon Smith, staff, Jason Gadd and Debra Butler, residents; and
Angela Schatz, business owner.
Nominations are grouped in three categories (Commercial /Industrial /Office, Multi - family
Residential, and Single - family Residential), and each property that receives at least four of the
five review committee votes is awarded. There is no limit to the number of awards that can be
selected, but winners from the last 10 years are not considered.
The attached slideshow highlights this year's HCIA winners. Below is a complete list of
