o What occurred at the Zoning and Planning meeting?
Staff reviewed the proposed additions to the existing grocery building. The applicant, Mike
Tait appeared before the Commission. Mr. Tait reviewed the interior and exterior remodeling
of the building. Mrs. Kinnich asked Mr. Tait to look into putting some planters along the
front of the building. Mr. Tait stated that he would look into putting some planters along the
front of the building. No one appeared at the public hearing regarding this issue.
Alternatives.
1. Approve the conditional use permit. By approving the conditional use permit, the
applicant will be able to construct the additions as proposed.
2. Deny the conditional use permit. By denying the conditional use permit, the applicant will
not be able to construct the additions as proposed. If the City Council considers this
alternative, findings will have to be identified that support this alternative.
3. Continue for further information. If the City Council indicates that further information is
needed, the item should be continued.
