CITY OF HOPKINS MEMORANDUM To: Hopkins City Council Jim GenelIie From: Date: October 17, 1995 Subject: Raspberry Festival Gambling Licenses Attached is Resolution 95-94 approving the Raspberry Festival's Premises Permit Renewal application for Hopkins Family Recreation, 107 Shady Oak Road. The Raspberry Festival and Mr. Wright, owner of Hopkins Family Recreation, have come to an agreement regarding a lease. The agreement allows Mr. Wright to cancel the lease with 90 days notice any time during the next two years. Should the lease be canceled, another organization could apply for a gambling license at this location. Any application, of course, would have to be approved by the City Council. . WHEREAS, the Raspberry Festival has conducted gambling activities in accordance with state law and Hopkins city policy, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Hopkins hereby approves the Raspberry Festival Premises Permit Renewal application for Hopkins Family Recreation, 107 Shady Oak Road.
