PUBLIC HEARING - COUNTY ROAD 3
Prooosed Action.
Staff recommends the following motion: Move to set a public hearing for the December 6
City Council meeting for public input to the County Road 3 Study.
Overview.
During the month of November the consultant and staff have held a number of meetings to
seek public input regarding the County Road 3 study. One of the last steps before the
adoption of the County Road 3 study is to hold a public hearing for the final public input into
the study.
. Primary Issues to Consider.
0 When is the proposed construction of County Road 3 to begin?
The County has proposed that the first phase, Shady Oak Road to lIth Avenue will start in
1996. The other sections hopefully will be completed upon the County allocating funds for
the additional phases.
