Apartments.
Adoption of this resolution will begin the assessment process for
the completed sidewalk project.
Overview.
The National Handicap Housing Institute submitted a petition on
behalf of Sonoma Apartments to have the cost of public sidewalk
installation levied against the property as a special assessment.
Council accepted the petition at its August 17, 1993 meeting.
Staff placed this project on the 1993 Miscellaneous Special
Assessments Roll but the owner appealed on the basis of financial
hardship, that the project was not completed, and that a hearing
. should be convened in March 1994. That appeal was granted.
Final costs are now available and staff recommends a public
hearing.
