1994 CDBG SOBRECIPIENT AGREEMENT
Proposed Action.
Staff recommends adoption of the following motion: Move to adopt
Resolution No. 64 authorizinq the Mayor and City Manager to
execute a SUbrecipient Aqreement with Hennepin County for 1994
(Year XX) Hennepin County Community Development Block Grant
Proqram.
Approval of this action will allow execution of the Subrecipient
and Third Party Agreements which will then be returned to
Hennepin County by the due date of August 15.
Overview
Earlier this year the city Council approved the city's 1994
Community Development Block Grant Program. These funds are
received by the city from Hennepin County on an annual basis.
. In conjunction with this program the City is required to execute
a Subrecipient Agreement with Hennepin County which details the
various requirements the City is required to comply with in
conjunction with the expenditure of the CDBG dollars.

RESOLUTION NO: 94-64
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE SUBRECIPIENT AGREEMENT WITH HENNEPIN COUNTY
FOR 1994 (YEAR XX) URBAN HENNEPIN COUNTY
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City of Hopkins has executed a Joint
Cooperation Agreement with Hennepin County for the purpose of
participating in the 1994 (Year XX) Urban Hennepin County
Community Development Block Grant Program; and
WHEREAS, Hennepin County is the recipient of an annual grant
from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for
purposes of the program, and the city is a subrecipient under the
program and receives a share of the grant; and
WHEREAS, program regulations require that the City and
county execute a Subrecipient Agreement which sets forth the
specific implementation processes for activities to be
undertaken with program funds.
~ NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Hopkins City Council
hereby authorizes and directs the Mayor and the city Council to
execute the Subrecipient Agreement on behalf of the city.
