APPROVE 1993 HMEA CONTRACT
Proposed Action ,
Staff recommends that the Council approve the following motion: Move approval of the 1993 Contract for the
Hopkins Municipal Employee Association.
This action will ratify the 1993 contract for the clerical and technical employees.
Overview
The City has completed negotiations with the Hopkins Municipal Employee Association (HMEA). The
contract also calls for a 2% wage increase on January 1, 1993 and a 1 % wage increase on July 1, 1993. The
contract also calls for an increase of $15.00 per month for health, life, and dental insurance in 1993.
Primary Issues to Consider

The wage increase and the $15.00/month increase in insurance are similar to the increases which were
negotiated with the other unions.
