Overview. council at its May 17 meeting reconsidered earlier approved plans and specifications for a bituminous overlay project on 2nd Avenue South and the Katherine Curren Parking Lot. Staff had recommended reconsideration after it determined the advisability of expanding the scope of the street project. council approved the revisions under the likelihood of increased project costs and ordered bids to be taken. A bid opening was held June 17, 1993.
