Supporting Information. • Resolution 97 -92 James Gessele Engineering Superintendent v 0 P K RESOLUTION FOR STATE AID REIMBURSEMENT Council Report No. 97 -170 Staff recommends the following motion: Move that Council adopt Resolution 97 -92, Resolution Concerning Past Award of Contract, State Aid Project 132 - 346 -13. Nine Mile Creek improvements at llth Avenue South, 7th Street South, and the Thermotech site were undertaken in 1994. Project costs are currently being funded on an installment basis by Nine Mile Creek Watershed District. Another source of funding was to be State Aid. This avenue of revenues was overlooked and staff has had a report on final estimate prepared by RCM Associates to collect the eligible funds. The original award of bid needs to be revised by addendum in order for the City to collect the funds. • What MSA funds are available? The consultant reports that the City will encumber $205,670.50 in State Aid funding. • Staff recommendation Staff recommends adoption of Resolution 97 -92 which will be submitted to MN /DOT in the final report and fund request CITY OF HOPKINS HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO: 97 -92 RESOLUTION CONCERNING PAST AWARD OF CONTRACT- - STATE AID PROJECT 132- 346 -13 WHEREAS, bids were received for Phase I Nine Mile Creek Improvements on December 10, 1993, and WHEREAS, eleven bids were received and the bid of Park Construction, in the amount of $1,044,268.70, was the lowest responsible bid for this creek improvement project, Project No. 93 -15, and WHEREAS, City Council of the City of Hopkins, authorized and directed the Mayor and City Clerk to enter into a contract with Park Construction in a past resolution, Resolution 93 -139, and WHEREAS, such contract was executed with Park Construction and the project completed, NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Hopkins, Minnesota, Adopted by the City Council of the City of Hopkins this 7th day of October, 1997. ATTEST: The City of Hopkins wishes to submit a Report of Final Estimate for State Aid reimbursement concerning the above project. 2.
