To: Honorable Mayor and Members of the City Council
From: Steven C. Mielke, Hopkins City Manager
Date: October 17, 1997
Subject: Storm and Sanitary Sewer Plan of Action
Office of the City Manager
In response to questions about the intentions of the City to make it known that the City of
Hopkins intends to take response actions to the identified areas of Hopkins that
experienced flooding this summer, Staff has prepared a Plan of Action and an adopting
resolution for City Council consideration.
The Plan of Action reviews the affected areas and suggests actions to be taken based on
known information. Timeframes have been attached to the actions to demonstrate the
potential amount of time necessary to complete each task assuming approvals from the
council.
We have also attached a memo outlining actions that have already been accomplished.
Due to time constraints notification of this plan has not been accomplished. Obviously
future actions by the Council will be necessary for the completion of tasks outlined in the
plan.
