RE: Appreciation for Award
Dear Mr. Howland:
. 1 know I speak for the City Council when I express my appreciation to you for the
sponsorship ofthe Howland Award for Urban Enrichment granted to the City of Hopkins.
The Hopkins Center for the Arts was truly an urban enrichment project with the slogan
"Building Community Through the Arts."
The acknowledgement we received from the National League of Cities through the award
in your name was a truly gratifying experience and one which we will not forget. We
have shared this experience with those who partnered with us in doing this project and
they have also expressed their appreciation and gratitude for the acknowledgement the
award represents. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Charles D. Redepenning
Mayor
