Memo 2nd Reading Alley Vacation OrdinanceTo: Honorable Mayor and City Council From: James Gessele, Engineering Superintendent JTGi Date: July 11, 1996 Subject: Second Reading Alley Vacation Ordinance, #104100 Block 6th/7th Aves South Attached you will find Ordinance 96 -784 for second reading. Adoption of this ordinance vacates certain portions of the alley in the 10 -100 block between 6th/7th Avenues South. During the first reading and subsequent to that hearing staff has received no objections or comments concerning the vacation. Council should note that the City Attorney has revised the ordinance as to form to facilitate its recording against the two adjoining properties to the vacation. The revised ordinance precludes easement documents being drawn up. Staff recommends adoption of Ordinance 96 -784 for second reading and final adoption and ordered published.
