SUBJECT: Ordinance Renaming Street to Excelsior Boulevard
Second Reading
Attached you will find ordinance 96 :789 for second reading.
Adoption of this ordinance renames the County Road 3 roadway to
Excelsior Boulevard effective January 1, 1997. No revisions have
been made on the original draft as submitted to Council at its
August 20 meeting.

FOI�LOWS :
Those parts of Hennepin County State Aid Iiighway I�To e 3 with the
current name designations of Excelsior Avenue East and Second
Street South within the City of Hopkins be and the same are
�ie�eby changed to Excelsior Boulevard effective January i 1997.
Those parts of Seconcl Street South lying between F'ifth and Eighth
Aver�aues South and between Eleventh and Thirteenth Avenues Southa '
being remote thoroughfares from the county road, shall retain �
their current designationo
The acldress numbering system for Excelsior Boulevard shall be�the
prevailing Minneapolis system as used in all othe� segments of
the roadway.
