MSAS FUNDS
COUNTY ROAD 73 - S.A.P. 132-020-08
proposed Action.
Staff recommends the following motion: Move that Council adopt
Resolution 91-29, Resolution Authorizing Additional MSAS Funds -
County Road 73 - S.A.P. 132-020-08.
Overview.
In 1989 Hennepin County undertook a bridge project on county Road 73
at Minnehaha Creek. Council at that time authorized the use of MSAS
money in the sum of $14,063.11 for off-system expenses. The City is
eligible for a final reimbursement of $1,624.89 but will need to raise
the authorization to cover final payment to the City.
primary Issues to Consider.
0 What does change in authorization accomplish?
Raising the authorization ceiling makes the city eligible
for final reimbursement on a very old project. Staff is
under pressure from the State Aid Office to clear all old
projects from the ledger and this is the last of such
outstanding reimbursements.
