Proposed Action.
staff recommends the following motion: Move that Council
adopt Resolution 91-36. Resolution Ordering Preparation of
Assessment Roll - Cambridqe street; Resolution 91-37.

Preparation of Assessment Roll - Campbell Drive.
This action initiates the process of calculating the
individual lot assessments and preparing an assessment roll.
Overview.
Construction of Cambridge street is complete and costs are
available now that the contractor has agreed to final
payment. In the case of Campbell Addition and Campbell
Drive, the assessment roll will be based upon the lowest bid
for street reconstruction plus overhead. The bid opening
will have been held March 27, 1991. In all three instances
staff can proceed with the assessment phase and anticipates
returning to Council at its April 16 meeting with the
respective rolls and recommending an assessment hearing
date.

RESOLUTION NO: 91-36
RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF
ASSESSMENT ROLL-CAMBRIDGE STREET
WHEREAS, the engineering superintendent and the City's
designated engineer, Toltz, King, Duvall, Anderson
& Associates, Incorporated, have determined that
improvement of Cambridge Street from Hiawatha
Avenue to Blake Road, city Project 90-02, is
completed, and
WHEREAS, the contractor for the aforesaid project has
agreed to final payment,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOPKINS
MINNESOTA:
1. The engineering supervisor shall forthwith
calculate the proper amount to be specially
assessed for such improvement against every
assessable lot, piece or parcel of land abutting
on the streets affected, without regard to cash
valuation as provided by law.
2. The engineering supervisor shall file a copy of
such proposed assessment in the city office for
inspection and shall notify the Council thereof.

Minnesota, this 2nd day of April, 1991.

CAMPBELL ADDITION
WHEREAS, the city Clerk and the City'S designated engineer,
Westwood Professional Services, Inc., have
received bids for the improvement of Campbell
Addition (including Herman Terrace, Herman Court,
and Althea Lane), City Project 90-20.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
HOPKINS, MINNESOTA:
1. The engineering superintendent shall forthwith
calculate the proper amount to be specially
assessed for such improvement against every
assessable lot, piece or parcel of land abutting
on the streets affected, without regard to cash
valuation as provided by law.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
HOPKINS, MINNESOTA:
1. The engineering superintendent shall forthwith
calculate the proper amount to be specially
assessed for such improvement against every
assessable lot, piece or parcel of land abutting
