Memo 2nd Reading Ordinance 91-680
.
C I T Y 0 F HOP KIN S
MEMORANDUM
Date:
June 13, 1991
To:
Mayor, and city council
From:
Scott R. Thompson, Administrative Intern
Re:
Second reading of Ordinance No. 91-680
ordinance No. 91-680, relating to licenses and permits, has
been modified to include the list of license and permit
items, and amendments to chapter 9 fire code fees (which are
now included in chapter 10).
.
The list of license and permit items must be included with
the ordinance because of the legal requirement that any
license, or permit item be established by ordinance (fees
can be set by resolution).
Amendments to chapter 9 fees have been included to eliminate
a conflict between chapter 10 license and permit fees, and
the old fire code fees in chapter 9. This ordinance puts all
license and permit fees in chapter 10, and fees established
in chapter 10 will take precedence over fees established in
any other chapter within the code (refer to 1000.01. Subd.
3. Conflicts).
The council report 91-126 gathered all license and permit
items into one list. All duplicated, deleted, or unlisted
license and permit items are included in the ordinance no.
91-680 list.
