Approval of this motion will allow the agreement to be .executed between the City and HRA. ca°1eryie11 Recently the City Council approved action to change the existing staffing concerning the Housing/Rehabilitation Loan Grant Program and the Section 8 Rental Assistance Program. Under this change the Housing Coordinator will be hired to undertake administration of a variety of possible housing programs including Housing Rehabilitation. The Section 8 Program will be coordinated by a. part -time HRA employee. In order to facilitate an HRA employee administering a City program, an agreement needs to be approved between both of these groups. In a situation such as Hopkins where there is very little separation between the City and HRA such an agreement really doesn't have any major significance for either party. This is done more to satisfy the statutory requirements which state that cities and HRA's are two separate entities.
