Proposed Action.
Staff recommends the following motion: Move that Council adopt
esolution No. 90 -104. Resolution Au.3provi ng Agreement between Ha ki.ns
and t e Commissioner of Transportation,
This action is the final step in obtaining reimbursement from State
Aid funds towards the purchase of the City Engineers computer network
hardware and software.
Overview.
Council action of December 5, 1989, authorized the purchase of
specified computer hardware and software as part of State Aid and
MN/ DOT program for automation in data flew. Authorization was made
with the understanding that the City would receive reimbursement from.
State Aid funds at 40% of the cost,

RESOLUTION NO: 90 -104
RESOLUTION APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH
COMMISSIONER OF TRANSPORTATION
WHEREAS, the City of Hopkins wishes to receive reimbursement
from State Aid funds towards the purchase of the
City Engineer; a computer network hardware and
software,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF HOPKINS,
MINNESOTA:
Adopted by the Council this lath day of September, 1390,
ATTEST:
that pursuant to Section 16136. Subdivision 1
through 6, Minnesota Statutes, the Commissioner of
Transportation be appointed as agent of the City
of Hopkins to let as its agent, contracts for the
construction of local roads and bridge, and the
Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed for and on behalf of the City to execute
and enter into a ! ontract with the Comnissioner of
Transportation prescribing the tens and
conditions of such contracts in the form as set
forth and contained in "Minnesota Department of
Transportation Agency Agrsenent" a copy of which
aid agreement was before the City Council,
assuming on behalf of the City all of the
obligations therin contained.
