GAMBLING LICENSE RENEWAl,
REQUEST FOR 1989
FOR VFW POST 425
Proposed Acti~
Staff recommends adoption of the following motion: ~
that the City of Hopkins finds that the gambling license
application of VFW Post 1~25 is consistent with the eXistinK
City policy on Charitable gambling.
Adoption of this motio~ will allow the application to be
considered by the Charitable Gambling Control Board.
Overview.
On OQtober 25, 1988 Archie Weidner of the Hopkins VFW Post
'_25 made application for renewul for 1989.
This gambling application complies with the existing
gambling policy. As there have been no problems at this
location staff feels that the City bas no reason to deny.

that the City has no reason to deny.
