REBOLIITION ORDERING IMPROOEMENT AFTER PII$LIC HEARING
ALLEY RECONSTRIICTION
PROJECT 96-05
WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council adopted the 6th day of
March, 1996, fixed a date for a Council hearing on the
proposed improvement of an alley in the #10-#100 Block
between 6th/7th Avenues South, and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it appropriate and expedient to
reconstruct the alley with concrete pavement, and
WHEREAS, ten days mailed notice and two weeks published notice of
the hearing was given, and the hearing was held thereon the
2nd day of April, 1996 and continued to June 4, 1996 at
which all persons desiring to be heard were given an
opportunity to be heard thereon,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Hopkins,
Minnesota:
1. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the
Council resolution adopted the 6th day of March, 1996.
2. Plans should be amended to omit any reconstruction of the
alley lying within the proposed alley vacation adjacent to
Lot 18, Block 2, West Minneapolis.
3. The City's engineer is hereby designated to prepare plans
and specifications for the making of such improvement.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Hopkins this 4th
day of June, 1996.
