1994-021 CITY OF HOPKINS Hennepin County, Minnesota RESOLUTION NO: 94-21 RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING A REAR YARD VARIANCE AT ONE FARMDALE ROAD WHEREAS, an application for a variance, VN 94-1, was made by James A. Justus to allow him to construct an addition to the east side of the existing home at One Farmdale Road. WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application is as follows: 1. That an application for a variance VN 94-1 was filed with the City of Hopkins on January 21, 1994. 2. That the Hopkins Planning Commission, pursuant to mailed notices, held a meeting on the application and reviewed such application on February 22, 1994: all persons present were given an opportunity to be heard. 3. That the written comments and analysis of the City staff and the Planning Commission were considered. 4. A legal description of the property follows: Commencing at the Southwest corner of Lot 2 thence east along Southerly line thereof to a point distance 25 feet west from Southeast corner thereof thence deflect left 70 degrees to the Northeasterly line of said Lot 2 thence Northwesterly and Westerly along said lot line to the Northwest corner thereof thence Southerly to beginning, Lot 2 Block 12, Hobby Acres, Lohman-Aarhus Division. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the application for variance VN 94-1 is hereby approved based on the following Findings of Fact: 1. That the applicant has a hardship due to the unique shape of the lot. Adopted this 3rd day of March, 1994 ATTEST:
