A RESOLUTION APPROVING PROPOSED 1992 TAX LEVY
COLLECTIBLE IN 1993, ADOPTING THE PRELIMINARY 1993 BUDGET,
AND SETTING PUBLIC HEARING DATES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HOPKINS, MINNESOTA, that the following
sums of money be levied for the current year collectible in 1993 upon the taxable
property in said City of Hopkins, for the following purposes.
General Fund
Equipment Replacement Fund
General Obligation Bonds
Improvement Bonds

This levy is made based on current law and the 1993 General Fund Budget of
$6,139,000.
provision has been made for the payment of the City' s contributory share to the
Public Employees Retirement Association.
Provi~ion has also been made for the payment of principal and interest on the
following bond issues:
Redevelopment Bonds 5-1-88
Redevelopment Bonds 12-1-89
Refunding Bonds 3-1-90
Refunding Bonds 2-1-92
G.O. Sewer Revenue Bonds 12-1-89
Park Bonds 3-1-90*
Improvement (PIR) Bonds 3-1-90*
Improvement (PIR) Bonds 8-1-92*

Public hearing date for the 1993 budget is December 7, 1992, with a reconvening date
of December 16, 1992, if necessary.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is hereby ordered and directed to
transmit a certified copy of this resolution to the County Auditor of Hennepin
County, Minnesota.

RESOLUTION APPROVING 1 HOUR PARKING AND "NO PARKING
2 A.M. TO 6 A.M." ADJACENT TO HOPKINS
AUTO PARTS CO. ON EAST SIDE OF 19TH AVE. S.
WHEREAS, the Hopkins City Council may by resolution designate
limited time parking, and
WHEREAS, pursuant thereto, the police department shall cause the
posting and maintenance of appropriate signs at the
locations so designated, and
WHEREAS, the East side of 19th Ave. South adjacent to 1842
Mainstreet is public property, and
WHEREAS, signage of this area for 1 hour parking will control
long term parking in this area, and help provide the
turnover necessary for commercial establishments in
this area.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Hopkins, that the area adjacent to 1842 Mainstreet on
the East side of 19th Ave. S., between Mainstreet and
the first private drive, be signed for 1 hour parking,
with No parking between the hours of 2 and 6 a.m., and
that all previous parking restrictions in the defined
area be rescinded.
