Overview
On April 25, 2006, staff presented a feasibility report to the Council detailing improvements
along Nine Mile Creek. These improvements include bank stabilization, habitat enhancements
and water quality ponds. The watershed district has funding that is available to cities for the
design and construction of these improvements. The City needs to petition the District to be
considered for funding. The estimated cost of the project is $2.5 million with the District funding
100% of the creek related improvements.
Staff recommends approval ofthe resolution to begin the funding process.
