RESOLUTION NO: 90-63
RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING
AN APPLICATION FOR WAIVER OF PLAT WVR:90-1
WHEREAS, an application by Haller Properties for a Waiver of the
Platting Requirements WVR:90-1 to divide Lot 23 thus
creating Parcels 'A' and 'B' as described below is hereby
approved.
Parcel 'A': Lot 22 and the south 12 feet of Lot 23, Block 3,
Gibbs First Addition to West Minneaplis, Hennepin County,
Minnesota, according to the recorded plat thereof.
Parcel 'B': Lot 24 and that part of Lot 23 lying north of
the south 12 feet of Lot 23, Block 3, Gibbs First Addition
to West Minneaplis, Hennepin County, Minnesota according to
the recorded plat thereof.
WHEREAS, the procedural history of the amendment is as follows:
1. That the application for Waiver of the Platting
Requirements was filed with the city of Hopkins on May
11, 1990.
2. That the Hopkins Planning Commission reviewed such
application on May 29, 1990.
3. That the Hopkins Planning Commission, pursuant to
mailed notices, held a public hearing on May 29, 1990;
all persons present at the hearing were given an
opportunity to be heard.
4. That the written comments and analysis of the city
Staff and the Planning Commission were considered.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that application for Waiver of the
Platting Requirements is hereby approved subject to the
following Findings of Fact:
1. That the new lots meet the minimum requirements for the
R-1-A District.
2. That a single family home or a two family home can be
constructed on each lot.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that application for Waiver of the Platting
Requirements is hereby approved subject to the following
Conditions:
1. That the Hennepin County Recorder accepts the Waiver of
Plat.
