RESOLUTION NO: 88-27
RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING
APPLICATION FOR WAIVER OF PLATTING REQUIREMENTS
WHEREAS, an application for a Waiver of th
Platting Requirements has been made by the City of Hopkins
to allow division of the property between 10th & 11th
Avenues South, north of the Norwest Bank to faci1itat
construction of a parking ramp.
WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application
is as follows:
1. That an application for Waiver of the Platting
Requirements was filed with the City of
Hopkins on March 30, 1988.
2. That the-Hopkins Planning Commission reviewed
such application of April 26, 1988.
3. That the Hopkins Planning Commission, pursuant
to published and mailed notices, held a public
hearing on April 26, 1988; all persons present
at the hearing were given an opportunity to be
heard.
4. That the written comments and analysis of the
City Staff and the Planning Commission were
considered.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Hopkins
City Council makes the following Findings of Fact in respect
to SUBD:88-1:
1. That the new lots created meet the lot area for
the B-2 District.
2. That the existing setbacks will not be affected
by the new division line.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that application SUBD88-1
is hereby approved subject to the following conditions:
1. That the Conditional Use Permit to construct a
parking ramp is approved.
2. The Waiver of Plat be approved by the Hennepin
County Recorder.

RESOLUTION WAIVING PLATTING REQUIREMENTS FOR DIVISION
OF PROPERTY FOR CONSTRUCTION OF PARKING RAMP
WHEREAS, the City of Hopkins has applied to the
City Council for approval of a division of P.I.D.# 24-117-
22-34-123 into two parcels.
PARCEL A - COMPANY PROPERTY
Lot 22, the South 15.00 feet of Lot 23, the North
44.00 feet of Lot 21 and that part of the vacated
North-South alley lying between the Easterly
extension of the South line of the North 14.00
feet of Lot 21 and the Easterly extension of the
South line of the North 44.00 feet of Lot 21, all
in Block 6, West Minneapo1 is, Hennepin County,
according to the recorded plat thereof.
Together wi th an Easement for parking over the
North 44 feet of the West 37 feet of Lot 14, Block
6, West Minneapolis
PARCEL B - OFFICE PROPERTY
Lots 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 and that part of
Lot 21 lying south of the North 44 feet, Block 6,
West Minneapolis, including the vacated 14 foot
alley adjacent to Lots 18, 19, 20 and that part of
Lot 21, lying South of the North 44 feet, Block 6,
West Minneapolis; subject to an easement for
public parking over the North 44 feet of the West
37 feet of Lot 14, Block 6, West Minneapolis.
NOW THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved by the City
Council of the City of Hopkins that said premises as above
described may be divided as hereinabove set forth without
further platting or other formal subdivision requirements.

of Hopkins, Minnesota, at a regular meeting held the 3rd day
of May, 1988.
