A RESOLUTION APPROVING 1988 TAX LEVY
COLLECTIBLE IN 1989
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HOPKINS, MINNESOTA,
that the follow1ng sums of money be levied for the current year
collectible in 1989 upon the taxable property in sa1d C1ty of Hopk1ns,
for the follow1ng purposes.
General Fund
$2,643,745
Provis10n has been made for the payment of the C1ty'S contributory
share to the Public Employees Retirement Association.
Provision has also been made for the payment of pr1nc1pal and
interest on the following bond 1ssues:
P.I.R. Fund Issue of 7-1-72
Sanitary Sewer Revenue Bonds of 7-1-70
Redevelopment Bonds of 11-1-77
Redevelopment Bonds of 11-1-78
Redevelopment Bonds of 3-1-84
Redevelopment Bonds of 5-1-88
Capital Equipment Notes of 9-1-88
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is hereby ordered
and directed to transmit a certified copy of this resolution to the
County Auditor of Hennepin County, Minnesota.
Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Hopkins, M1nnesota,
at a regular meeting of the Council held the 4th day of October, 1988.
