CITY OF HOPKINS
HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING
APPLICATION FOR REZONING ZN86-7
WHEREAS, an application for Rezoning entitled
ZN86-7 has been made by Midwest Auto Malls for rezoning of
property at County Road 3 and 1 1 t h Avenue South to allow
auto repair.
WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application
is as follows:

1. That an application for Rezoning ZN86-7
was filed wi th the Ci ty of Hopkins on
October 30, 1986.
2. That the Hopkins Planning Commission
reviewed such application on November
25, 1986.
3. That the Hopkins Planning Commission,
pursuant to published and mailed
notices, held a pUblic hearing on
November 25, 1986; all persons present
at the hearing were given an opportunity
to be heard.
4. That the written comments and analysis
of the City Staff and the Planning
Commission were considered.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Hopkins
City Council makes the following Findings of Fact in respect
to ZN:86-7:
1. The proposed use is consistent with the
surrounding uses.
2. That the subject lot meets the minimum
requirements for a B-3 District.
3. That the proposed zoning is consistent
with the Comprehensive Plan.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that application for
Rezoning ZN86-7 is hereby approved subject to the following
Conditions:
1. The applicant secures use or ownership
of Second Street South.
Adopted this 3rd day of February, 1987.
