WHEREAS an application for a Variance entitled VN-85-57 has
been made by Robert H. Mason/Donald F. Perkl, 917
Mainstreet, to construct an addition with less than the

Q
WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application is
as follows:
1. That an application for Variance VN-85-57 was filed
with the City of Hopkins on October 4, 1985.
2. That the Hopkins Planning Commission, pursuant to
mailed notices, held a public hearing on October 29, 1985:
all persons present at the hearing were given an opportunity
to be heard.
4. That the written comments and analysis of the City
Staff and the Planning Conunission were considered.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Hopkins City Council
makes the following Findings of Fact in respect to VN-85-57:

providing a transition of the surrounding buildings.
2. That the Variance is necessary to enable the trash
container to be enclosed, which helps reduce the impact of
the Variance.
o
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that application for Variance
VN-85-57 is hereby approved subject to the following
conditions:
1. That the rear setback be not less than one (1) foot
at the trash container.
2. That there be a rear yard setback of not less than
seven (7) feet for the remainder of the entrance to the
arcade.
Adopted this 3rd day of December, 1985
