MINUTES: Mr. Mllbert moved and Mr. Shlrley seconded the motlon to approve the mlnutes of the July 17, 1984 meetlng. HEARING: Regardlng abatement of nUlsance by removlng certaln lnfected elm and/or oak trees In varlOUS locatlons In the Clty of Hopklns. ACTION: Mr. Shlrley moved and Mr. Anderson seconded the motlon to adopt the Resolutlon 84-3151 orderlng removal of trees by the Clty and charglng the costs to property owners. The Resolutlon was amended to exclude 236 Tyler Avenue North, as these trees were already removed. Item 84-164 Englneers Report Lot 200 Renovatlon ACTION: The englneer reported that the lot 200 parklng lot lS In need of repalr and that posslbly should be completely renova ted because the condl tlon of the surface lS such that sealcoatlng would not take care of the problem for any length of tlme. If a complete renovatlon was consldered It mlght also be tled In wlth the constructlon of a concrete alley along the parklng lot. An englneer's report would be needed before any declslon could be made on the complete proJect. ACTION: Mr. Mll b ert moved and Mr. Shl rl ey seconded the mo tlon to authorlze the Mayor and Manager to slgn the agreement after amendlng the agreement to make reference to the serVlce belng performed out of the Hopklns Communlty Center.
