In accordance with my conversation with you, as owners of the
adjacent property, Hopkins Park Plaza, to the invol ved property
asking for a variance from the rear and sideyard requirements in
order to construct a garage at 44 - 5th Avenue North, we would
object to a variance being gi ven due to the fact of the extreme
closeness the garage would be from the people who are living i.n
the efficiency apartments and looking out at that garage.
It appears that the garage would be within seven (7) feet of their
windows and as these apartments are half into the ground already,
it would severely darken and depress the living environment of
the uni ts facing that garage.
We thank you for this opportunity to express our concerns on this
variance and I hope this matter will be given serious consideration
to protect the current living environment of our residents.
