RESOLUTION 83-3090 CITY OF HOPKINS Hennepin County, Minnesota RESOLUTION NO. 83-3090 A RESOLUTION ORDERING ABATEMENT OF NUISANCE BY REMOVING CERTAIN INFECTED ELM AND/OR OAK TREES IN VARIOUS LOCATIONS IN THE CITY OF HOPKINS WHEREAS, pursuant to City of Hopkins Ordinance No. 79-467 and pursuant to MSA Chapter 18, and pursuant to Chapter 4, Rules and Regulations of the Department of Agriculture (AGR-lOl-120), the forester of the City of Hopkins has found conditions indicating the presence of Dutch Elm or Oak Wilt infestation exist and have existed upon the following properties: 226 Tyler North $180 413 Hiawatha Avenue $204 $162 $ 78 309 - 20th Avenue North $66 301 Wilshire Walk 102 Van Buren South $138.00 Knollwood Island 217 Jackson North $ 96 . WHEREAS, notice of such findings has been given to the owners of record of the premises; and WHEREAS, no part of said infected trees has been removed or otherwise treated, WHEREAS, a hearing was held on the 5th day of July 1983, giving all property owners a chance to be heard. NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Hopkins, as follows: That the City will take action to remove said infected trees and assess the cost thereof to the owners of record.
