STAFF FINDINGS AND COMMENTS Norris
Applicant is proposing to move a house presently located at 11291 Old Shady
Oak Road to the lot at 53 Van Buren Avenue South. The City inspectors checked
the house to determine its condition. The inspectors found that the house is in
good condition, attached are the findings most are simply items necessary to
bring the structure into compliance with the current codes.

EXTERIOR
1. Provide and install minimum of 2 R -60 roof vents plus more intake vents.
INTERIOR
1. Repair ceiling in bathroom, refinish total room including repair of flooring
by the bathtub (needs caulk).
2. Replace window on east wall in living room.
3. Refinish all trim in all rooms.
4. Refinish all walls and ceilings in all other rooms.
5. Insulate attic to a minimum of R -40.
ELECTRICAL
1. Total house to be brought up to standards of the 1981 National Electrical Code.
To include but not limited to:
(a) GFI in bathroom.
(b) GFI on rear exterior.
(c) Additional outlet east wall living room.
(d) Additional outlet west wall in northwest bedroom.
(e) Additional outlet south wall in southwest bedroom.
(f) Additional outlet west and east wall in kitchen
(g) Additional outlet in hallway.
(h) Put light over lavatory on wall switch.
NOTE: New 100 Amp service to include re- balancing existing circuits.
