Subject: Conditional Use Permit Application
to construct an additional driveway
on Tyler Ave., No., North of Second
Street Northeast.
Attached is a Conditional Use Permit Application to construct a driveway
Q to the existing parking lot located northeast of the two listed streets.
The need for the additional driveway is caused by the increased traffic
on Second Street, resulting from the 1981 upgrade of St. Louis Street.
Congestion at shift change time has become an employee concern and a
safety problem.
Employees using the parking lot were polled regarding the use of the
proposed driveway. Over 100 of the some 250 people using the lot
responded to a questionnaire with 59 indicating they would use the Tyler
Ave. driveway. This would appreciably reduce the congestion at the two
exits on Second Street.
A drawing of the proposed driveway is attached for your consideration.
