Amendatory Agreement- Police DispatcherAMENDATORY AGREEMENT
This Agreement between the Hopkins Police Dispatcher and Public Service
Officer Association and the City of Hopkins shall make certain amendments in the
existing contract, dated March 18, 1981, between the parties The intent of
these amendments is to carry the existing contact (as amended) from January 1,
1982 to December 31, 1982, or until such time thereafter as a new Agreement
becomes effective. These amendments are as follows:
a) Replace page 12 with a new page 12, attached
(only changes in insurance).
b) Replace signature page (17) with a new (signed)
page attached.
c) Replace Wage Appendix- Monthly with a new Wage
appendix, attached.

III ARTICLE XIV COURT TIME
An employee who is required to appear in Court during his scheduled off -duty time
shall receive a minimum of two (2) hours pay at one and one -half (11/2) times the employee's
base pay rate. An extension or early report to a regularly scheduled shift for Court
appearance does not qualify the employee for the two (2) hour minimum.
ARTICLE XV CALL BACK TIME
An employee who is called to duty during his scheduled off -duty time shall receive
a minimum of two (2) hours pay at one and one -half (12) times the employee's base pay
rate. An extension or early report to a regularly scheduled shift for duty does not
qualify the employee for the two (2) hour minimum.
RTICLE XVI WORKING OUT OF CLASSIFICATION
Employees assigned by the EMPLOYER to assume the full responsibilities and asthority
of a higher job-classification shall receive the salary schedule of the higher classif-
ication for the duration of the assignment.
ARTICLE XVII INSURANCE
The EMPLOYER will contribute up to a maximum of $117.70 per month per employee for
group health and life insurance, including dependent coverage and dental insurance,
beginning with the January 1982 insurance premium and through the premium covering the
month of December 1982.
ARTICLE XVIII UNIFORMS
Required uniforms will be provided by EMPLOYER.

SPECIAL NOTE: Employees are responsible for advising payroll in writing at the
time of their anniversaries, otherwise longevity steps will be effective January 1
following year.
SPECIAL NOTE: PSO Arndt, for special reason acceptable to both parties, shall
be allowed to achieve the level of PSO I after 18 months of service. This
shall not change the applications of the wage scale to PSO Arndt in any other
way, or to any other employee.
