DATE October 12, 19 82
The applicant with the highest number of points is a Hopkins resident, first time
home buyer, with three children.
On October 19 I will be requesting the City Council to allow the City to enter into
a redevelopment contract for sale of the house in accordance with Program Guidelines.
If the highest ranking applicant family can financially qualify (which it appears they
can) the sale will be made to them. Otherwise the sale will be awarded to one of the
three second highest scoring applicants (a lottery method probably will be used, if
necessary, to rank these applicants). Finally, if the weather holds out and the
necessary paper work can be completed, the move is still anticipated to be completed
this year.
