The party who sold them the liquor i s an eippl oyee of the East -End I i 'Tor and his
name is John Alfred Larson, DOB 8/1/55, 1d2 Van Buren Ave. So. in Hopkins, tele.
935 -6708. I asked John if he had received identirication from either Mary
Croy or ZIA Mr. Larson stated he did not. I asked Mr. Larson who
paid for the beer and Mr. Larson indicated that it was zn^✓
John Larson stated that 7 1411 paid him cash for the case of beer which
totaled $5.50 plus $.28 tax. V and Mary Croy did not have any
type of identification on them at all. Mary Croy's parents were contacted
to verify that Mary was 19 YOA. I read Mary Croy the Miranda Warning and
after reading it she stated she did understand it and wished to talk with us.
I asked Mary what had taken place tonight. Mary stated that
had called her at home which is at 107 No Blake Rd., Apt. 111, tele. 933-
6609 and asked if she, Mary, would buy some beer for au Mary
stated yes she would and she stated that she would meet them at Tom Thumb. Mary.
stated she was picked up at Tom Thumb and driven to the liquor store where she
said she was going to held ;p4.10 purchase the beer. I then asked Mary
Croy if she knew that ?iK• was only 17 YOA and she states yes. Mary
was advised that I would be sending a copy of my report to the County Attorney
and she was then released to herself. Because trv►1/ lied to us regarding
his address we brought him to the Hopkins Police Stn. where his Mother was contacte
and came down to the Police Dept. to get him.
The case of Old Milwaukee beer was confiscated by the Hopkins Police Dept.
John Alfred Larson the employee of the East End Bottle Liquor was also advised
that a report would be made as to what took place. John Larson stated that he
had seen Mary Louise Croy in the store purchasing before. John Larson further
stated that he felt if he had not sold the Old Milwaukee beer to 7104/ that
he would have just walked outside and let Mary Croy buy the beer anyway. I do
wish a complaint be issued in this case.
The case of beer was marked and placed in property room A, Bin A -1.
