Letter- Lane for Vehicle Mail Drop1010 FIRST STREET SOUTH HOPKINS, MINNESOTA 55343 612/935 -8474
April 8, 1982
Mr. Robert Scott
Postmaster
Hopkins Post Office
Hopkins, Mn 55343
Dear Mr. Scott:
The proposal to install a lane for a vehicle mail drop on 9th
Avenue South, as we have previously discussed, was placed before
City Council on April 6, 1982
The Council's response was negative, regarding the use of
redevelopment funds for the installation of this improvement.
They directed that I write and request that the boxes be moved
to another site on Post Office property, due to the traffic
congestion and accident hazard now existing at and around the site
presently used for mail drop -off.
I'll await your reply with interest please call if you'd like to
discuss the matter.
Yours very truly,
William P. Craig
