Dear John:
We received a complaint from Gil Johnson about the visi—
bility coming onto 5th Street South from the Country Club
Market Warehouse.
I checked out the situation and there is a problem with
those cars parking on 5th Street South between 6th Avenue
South and 7th Avenue South on the north side. The street
is 37 feet wide and there is already no parking on the
south side of the street. But with the increase of the
truck traffic on that street, since the opening of Super
Valu's Warehouse, that street seems quite narrow. Removing
the parking on the north side of 5th Street South from 6th
Avenue South Through 7th Avenue South would make it safer
for the truck traffic and also eliminate the visibility
problem when coming out of Country Club Warehouse on to 5th
Street South.
Sincerely,
Lee M. Cooper
