Resolution 82-3030- Report on ImprovementsCITY OF HOPKINS Hennepin County, Minnesota RESOLUTION NO. 82 -3030 A RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 82 -3021 of the Council adopted September 28th, 1982, a report has been prepared by John Strojan, City Engineer, with reference to Second Street North from 16th Avenue North to 17th Avenue North by the extension of storm sewer thereon and this report was received by the Council on September 28th, 1982. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOPKINS, MINNESOTA, as follows: 1. The Council will consider the improvement of such street in accordance with the report and the assessment of Lots 1 thru 12, inclusive, Block 3 and Lots 11 thru 23, inclusive, Block 4, both in Gibbs First Addition to West Minneapolis for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to M.S.A., Secs. 429.011 to Secs. 429.111, as amended, at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $11,638.00 for cost of storm sewer and $2,912.95 for street repair; and will further consider the market value before and after said improvement, of the property affected thereby. 2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 16th day of November, 1982 in the Council Chambers of the City Hall at 7:30 o'clock P.M., and the Clerk shall give published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOPKINS, MINNESOTA, as follows: 1. The Council will consider the improvement of such street in accordance with the report and the assessment of Lots 1 thru 24, inclusive, Block 3, Gibbs First Addition to West Minneapolis for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to M.S.A., Secs. 429.011 to Secs. 429.111, as amended, at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $4,296.63; and will further consider the market value before and after said improvement, of the property affected thereby. 2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 16th day of November, 1982 in the Council Chambers of the City Hall at 7:30 o'clock P.M., and the Clerk shall give published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law.
