NOTICE OF HEARING ON PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Hopkins
will meet in the Council Chambers of the City Hall at 7:30 o'clock P.M., on
March 17th, 1981, to consider the making of an improvement on 12th Avenue North
to 17th Avenue North, inclusive from Excelsior Avenue to the south service road
of State Highway No. 7; on 5th Avenue North from Excelsior Avenue to State Highway
No. 7; on 1st Street North from 5th Avenue North to 17th Avenue North; On Minnetonka
Mills Road from 5th Avenue North to 9th Avenue North; on 4th Street North from 9th
Avenue North to 17th Avenue North by the installation of curb, gutter, driveways,
sidewalks and street surfacing thereon pursuant to M.S.A., Secs. 429.011 to Secs.
429.111, as amended, and to consider the market value before and after said
improvement, of the property affected thereby.
The area proposed to be assessed for such improvement is: The following
described properties in Section 24 Township 117, Range 22: (PID #24-117-22 41 0003)
West 233 feet of the south 433 feet of that part of the Northeast Quarter of Southeast

western Railroad right -of -way and State Highway No. 7 (PID #23-117 -22 -11 -0009 and
23- 117- 22 -14- 0001).
The estimated cost of such improvement is $446,069.00.
All persons desiring to be heard with reference to the proposed improvement
will be heard at this meeting.
