VESELY, City Attorney CITY OF HOPKINS Hennepin County, Minnesota RESOLUTION NO. 81-2912 A RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 81 -2907 of the Council adopted January 20, 1981, a report has been prepared by John Strojan, City Engineer, with reference to the north south alley between 5th Avenue North and 6th Avenue North, between 3rd Street North and Minnetonka Mills Road, by concrete surfacing thereon and this report was received by the Council on March 3, 1981. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOPKINS, MINNESOTA, as follows: 1. The Council will consider the improvement of such alley in accordance with the report and the assessment of Lots 1 thru 5, inclusive, Block 103, West Minneapolis Second Division for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to M.S.A., Secs. 429.011 to Secs. 429.111, as amended, at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $4,769.63; and will further consider the market value before and after said improvement, of the property affected thereby. 2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 7th day of April, 1981 in the Council Chambers of the City Hall at 7:30 o'clock P.M., and the Clerk shall give published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOPKINS, MINNESOTA, as follows: 1. The Council will consider the improvement of such alley in accordance with the report and the assessment of Lots 1 thru 12, inclusive, Block 106, West Minneapolis Second Division for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to M.S.A., for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to M.S.A., Secs. 429.011 to Secs. 429.111, as amended, at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $10,582.88 for concrete surfacing and $345.00 for grading and asphalt patch; and will further consider the market value before and after said improvement, of the property affected thereby. 2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 7th day of April, 1981, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall at 7:30 o'clock P.M., and the Clerk shall give published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. The Council will consider the improvement of such alleys in CITY OF HOPKINS Hennepin County, Minnesota RESOLUTION NO. 81 -2912 A RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 80 -2833 of the Council adopted March 4th, 1980, a report has been prepared by John Strojan, City Engineer, with reference to the improvement on the east -west alleys north of Excelsior Avenue between 7th Avenue North and 10th Avenue North by concrete surfacing thereon and this report was received by the Council on March 3rd, 1981. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOPKINS, MINNESOTA, as follows: accordance with the report and the assessment of Lots 1 thru 19, inclusive, Block 66; Lots 1 thru 22, inclusive, Block 67; Lots 1 thru 20, inclusive, including vacated alley and Lot 24, including vacated alley, Block 68; all in West Minneapolis Second Division; Tracts A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H, Registered Land Survey No. 953 for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to M.S.A., Secs. 429.011 to Secs. 429.111, as amended, at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $35,006.00 for concrete surfacing and $8,401.72 for grading and asphalt patch; and will further consider the market value before and after said improvement, of the property effected thereby. 2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 7th day of April, 1981 in the Council Chambers of the City Hall at 7 :30 o'clock P.M., and the Clerk shall give published notice of such hearing as required by law.
