Sale of "235" Housing Lots for constructionMarch 27, 1981 To:Bill Craig, City Manager From:Jim Kerrigan, CDD Subject: Sale of 235 Housing Lots Recently I advertized the sale of the two lots the City presently has available for the construction of 235 housing. As a result of this solicitation, two developers, Joseph Miller, Inc., and Roscon Inc., submitted proposals. Both of these builders had very similar proposals. However, it appears that the final product proposed by Miller, Inc., would be slightly superior in quality. It should also be noted that the Miller, Inc., proposal calls for a slightly larger structure with a lower overall sales price than that of Roscon. Firmus Opitz has reviewed the submitted plans and specs and agrees. Finally, in my review I visited a 235 structure constructed by each of the the two builders. Miller, Inc., home was completed, while the one we looked at by Roscon was still under construction. As a result of these various reviews I would recommend that the two available 235 lots be sold to Joseph Miller, Inc..
