Subject: Recommendation on various insurance coverage to
be awarded at the August 18,1981, Council meeting.
On August 13, 1981, sealed bids were opened at 10:00 a.m. in
the Council Chambers at City Hall on the following insurance cover-
ages:
Workers Compensation.
General Liability, Fire, E.C. Vandalism and
Malicious Mischief.
Fleet Liability
Excess Umbrella Liability -2 Million and
5 Million Dollar Coverage.
Volunteer Firemen's Accident.
All bids are for a one year period from September 1, 1981, thru
August 31, 1982.
On the basis of the bids received, tabulation of which is
attached, it is my recommendation to award the bids to the lowest
bidders as follows:

It is also my recommendation to increase our Umbrella Liability
coverage from our present two million to five million dollars.
Following is last year's costs compared to this year's bid
