Amendatory Agreement (Hpks. Municipal Employee Assoc. & Cty of Hpks.)0 O 0 AMENDATORY AGREEMENT This Agreement, between the Hopkins Municipal Employee Association and the City of Hopkins, shall make certain amendments in the existing contract, as amended February 8, 1978, December 21, 1978, and January 23, 1980 between the parties. The intent of these amendments is to carry the existing contract (as amended) from January 1, 1981 to December 31, 1981, or until such time thereafter as a new Agreement becomes effective. These amendments are as follows: a) Replace Article VIII with a new Article VIII, attached. L) Replace Article XII with a new Article XII, attached. c) Replace Article XVIII with a new (signed) Article XVIII, attached. d) Replace Appendix II (Classifications and Wages) with a new Appendix II, attached. CITY OF HOPKINS HMEA DATE: t Z -S 0 G Article VIII HOLIDAYS Paid holidays will include those 9 officially established under Minnesota Statutes 645.44, plus the Friday following Thanksgiving. In addition, each employee covered by this agreement will receive one floating holiday to be scheduled with the approval of his or her department head. Regular holidays are those for which all full time probationary or regular employees are eligible, immediately, upon entering the City service. The floating holiday is to be taken in the calendar year of the contract and will be made available upon completion of 6 months service. Appropriate records on floating holidays will be kept by the department heads. Holiday pay will be provided to part -time permanent employees on a pro -rata basis, based upon hours worked. Payment will be in a lump sum at the end of the calendar year, provided the recipient is a City of Hopkins employee at that time. 0 0 Article XII INSURANCE 0 The EMPLOYER will. contribute up to a maximum of $100.00 per month per employee for group health and life insurance, including dependent coverage, beginning with the January 1981 insurance premium and through the premium covering the month of December 1981. The EMPLOYER will contribute $8.00 per month per employee for group dental insurance, beginning with the January 1981 insurance premium and continuing through the premium covering the month of December 1981. 0 O 0 Article XVIII DURATION This AGREEMENT shall be effective as of January 1, 1981, and shall remain in full force and effect until the thirty -first (31st) day of December 1981, or until such time thereafter as a new Agreement becomes effective.
