Ordinance 2009 -1006
Ordinance 2009 -1006 amends the City Charter by establishing the size of the Commission at eleven
members.
In following up with the Chief Judge's office as to why a determination was made that Hopkins
should have 15 members on the Commission, staff was informed that this was due to a misreading of
the State Statute by the previous clerk. Staff was told that Commissions may have between 7 and 15
members and Commissions may determine the number of members through their charter.
