2007 -2008 Goals
Background:
The City Council and staff conducted a strategic planning session in late July to
review the 2005-2006 Goals and discuss potential 2007-2008 Goals.
I have discussed the draft 2007-2008 Goals with city staff and made a
presentation at an all-employee meeting. The proposed goals were also the
focus of the first Citizen Academy Alumni event which was held on October 12.
I intend to provide the Council with Academy member feedback from that event
as it relates to the future goals of the City.
It is also anticipated that the 2007-2008 Goals will be placed on a regular City
Council agenda for approval in December or January.
Enclosed in the packet is the latest draft of the goals for discussion by the City
Council.
