Re: Hopkins Streambank Restoration and Habitat Improvement Project -
Minnetonka Request for Amendment to Hopkins Petition
Dear Managers and Mr. Bigalke:
On behalf of the City of Minnetonka, please accept this request to amend the
referenced petition to include adding a storm water pond adjacent to Nine Mile Creek.
The pond would be located on City of Minnetonka property northeast of Opportunity
Court. The proposed pond would pre -treat storm water runoff that directly discharges
into the wetland directly adjacent to a portion of Nine Mile Creek, which is within the
project limits of the referenced improvement project. We have been working with the
district's administrator and engineer, and request to add this pond to the referenced
project.
Please contact us if any additional information or support is needed. Your consideration
is greatly appreciated, and the City of Minnetonka looks forward in partnering with the
watershed district. Thank you.
Sincerely,
